Hello my friends! 🙋♀️🙋♂️ Today I'm going to tell you an extremely interesting fun fact about the opossum 🦘 (also known as the possum, you know! 😉) Turns out these little "playing dead actors" 🎭😵 aren't faking it like we always thought! 😲 Actually, when faced with danger or extreme fear, opossums go into shock 😱 and faint unconsciously, not intentionally faking death. 😵💫 When "acting", their body stiffens like a log 🪵, eyes closed or rolled back 👀, mouth wide open 😮, and drooling 🤤. That's not all, they also release a foul odor from their behind 💨🤢 to convince predators that they've already "gone to heaven"! 😇🤭
